Annie Blackmore

Executive Head, Mayesbrook Park School

A highly experienced school leader who has worked in East London for many years, Annie’s roles have included deputy head, interim principal and principal. She was part of the Hackney Learning Trust team that oversaw the transformation of education in Hackney, contributing as a senior school improvement adviser and leading 14-19 initiatives including the Increased Flexibility vocational programmes and the expansion of sixth-forms. Annie has opened two new secondary schools and managed all aspects from staffing to curriculum and finance. She has led the Barking and Dagenham Alternative Provision Service (now Mayesbrook Park School) since April 2015 and is committed to rapidly driving up standards and outcomes for young people in alternative provision.

Trip to Stubbers adventure centre

Students at Erkenwald campus will spend the whole day at Stubbers adventure centre in Upminster, Essex. Students can take part in bushcraft, 4x4 driving, high ropes and climbing amongst other activities.
